🎤 Lyrics
[Is_MAX_MODE:MAX](MAX)[QUALITY: MAX](MAX) REALISM: MAX](MAX)

[Intro (walking bass starts, clap 2&4, count-in)]
(Spoken low) One, two, three, four—
(clap) (clap)
(Bass: step-step-step-step)

[Chorus 1 (12-bar in C, “walking” story, steady forward)]
The bass says, “No rush, I walk one step per beat,”
One two three four, making pavement under feet.
C to G, then A to Bb in the air,
Like a midnight sidewalk with a blue mist there.
The ride draws circles, time turns soft and round,
I nod on two and four and I don’t lose the ground.
No flashy tricks—just keep the floor beneath,
And the song stands up the moment that I breathe.

[Chorus 2 (comp concept, short lines like stabs, big space)]
The piano says, “I won’t crowd, I just smile on two and four,” (rest)
A quick little “mm-hm,” then I leave the door. (rest)
(Beat 2) hit— (rest) (Beat 4) hit— (rest)
That empty isn’t empty, it’s where the groove can sit.
At the F street corner, the bass changes shoes,
F C D Eb, a simple turning news.
Back to C at home, I feel my shoulders drop,
’Cause I learned to hold the frame before I hop.

[Chorus 3 (turnaround, spice then return, confident pocket)]
At bar nine the G wind has a little bite,
G D E F, like a wink in the night.
Then back to F, then C, the map stays true,
Last little turn is a hint of something new.
D Db C— the bass blinks “see you soon,”
Next chorus starts again beneath the same moon.
One step each beat, and two-four smiles on time,
Jazz grows reliable inside this simple rhyme.

[Outro (hum, space, backbeat claps)]
(Hum) DAA—da… DAA—da… (rest)
(clap on 2 and 4) (clap) (clap)

[Ending][Final Cadence][No Fade Out]
(Grand fermata on final hit, clear stop)

Context

Short Post:

🧩 Additional Info

Swing jazz blues,C 調 12-bar,104 BPM。

Upright Bass:

Intro(低音一步一步+2/4 拍提示)→ Chorus 1(Walking 概念與穩定)→ Chorus 2(2/4 Comp 的笑與留白)→ Chorus 3(Turnaround 與回到起點)→ Ending(簡短哼唱+正式句點)。

* 指定 “piano comping only on beats 2 and 4, short stabs” 讓伴奏不覆蓋低音。
* 結尾必寫 “grand fermata” 與 “no fade out” 讓歌曲像舞台收束。

[Walking Bass (every beat)] –
[Comp Stabs (2 and 4 only)] – 只點 2、4,短促不拖
[Ending][Final Cadence][No Fade Out] – 正式收束不淡出
