如果說世界巡演是一趟情緒光譜的旅行，那麼馬尼拉無疑是最耀眼的一段。聖嬰節不是一場只屬於宗教的儀式，而是一整座城市對生命的慶祝。《馬尼拉慶典：聖嬰節奏》正是在這樣的文化背景下誕生——它不描寫慶典，而是成為慶典的一部分。

莫札特的音樂，常被誤解為只屬於音樂廳的優雅藝術，但事實上，他的旋律結構極度貼近舞蹈與人聲。本作選擇以跳弓大提琴作為主角，正是為了喚醒這份被忽略的身體性。旋律不被拉長、不被裝飾，而是快速回應節奏，如同孩童在人群中穿梭。

Kulintang 排鑼的角色，並非異國色彩的點綴，而是整首作品的集體心跳。它的重複性讓人無法站在節奏之外，聽者會自然地開始點頭、拍手，甚至在心中起舞。文化融合在此不靠複雜設計，而是靠共同的節奏感——人類在慶典中，總是以相似的方式回應快樂。
