馬友友的大提琴在此不扮演獨奏英雄,而是海底洋流——低沉、持續、看似溫柔,卻真正支撐著整個海洋系統。斐濟的 Meke 舞蹈節奏,源自土地與身體的記憶,提醒人類仍然屬於自然;島民的合唱則不是表演技巧,而是一種「一起發聲」的姿態。文化融合在此不追求華麗,而追求誠實:當海平面上升,所有聲音都必須彼此聽見。這首作品最終不是悲歌,而是一首清醒而溫暖的守護之歌。
風格定位為「清唱劇精神導向的環境意識世界古典融合」,強調流動性、集體感與光明調性,避免煽情悲劇。
大提琴使用圓潤長弓與穩定顫音,音色如水流;Meke 打擊以腳步與手鼓節奏為主,保持自然律動;合唱僅使用無詞母音,避免語言主導;弦樂 Pad 提供光感;海浪環境聲作為呼吸層。
